Of these, 31 schools belong to the Bulathsinhala Divisional Secretariat and 12 schools belong to the Madurawala Divisional Secretariat. The total number of students is 12124. The total number of teachers is 760, and the number of teacher advisors is 05. It consists of one safety training center.

Distributing textbooks to schools in the division, distributing uniforms, distributing shoe vouchers, distributing term examination question papers, recommending salary increments for teachers and principals, approving leave for principals, approving time sheets. Annual Teacher Performance Review 2025

Schools are invited to register their students for the Annual Zonal Science Exhibition 2025 to be held at Mahinda College, Galle on April 5th. Deadline for registrations: March 15, 2025.

A two-day digital literacy and ICT integration workshop will be conducted at the Zonal Resource Centre. Participation is mandatory for all relevant subject teachers. Sessions begin at 8:00 AM.
