MISSION
Our mission is to provide necessary support to school principals to maintain school administrative activities properly, to ensure that the funds directly received by students are properly provided, and to assist in the success of government school examinations.
Providing necessary support for the development of human and physical resources in schools in the region and assisting in school administrative activities by resolving problems.
Zonal Activities
School nutrition activities, student scholarship payments, educational tour/field trip approval activities, footwear, uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, stationery vouchers, sanitary napkins, recommendations for student leave, approval for alternate sessions, recruitment and service extension of employees receiving development committee allowances, activities related to the removal of dangerous trees in school premises, disaster activities, canteen related activities, approval of 1C, 1AB school timetables, reimbursement of telephone, electricity and water bills in schools, health promotion activities, dengue drug related activities, health grants, scouts, scouts humanities, student band programs. Establishment of tourism club, activities related to allocation of school premises, issuance of second copies of student work plans, activities related to translation into English, investigation activities

Our Services
- Supervising and regulating the admission of students to schools.
- Approving school timetables.
- Carrying out school discipline and welfare activities.
- Supervising and regulating school health promotion, drug prevention, and epidemic prevention activities.
- Implementing school nutrition programs and supervising canteens.
- Conducting preliminary investigations and submitting recommendations on disciplinary matters assigned to the zonal offices.
- Selecting and referring students for various grants and scholarships.
- Organizing and conducting government examinations.
- Issuing duplicate copies of student performance indicators, certifying student identity cards.
- Recommending the holding of compensation sessions in schools.
- Granting approval for the provision of school premises and resources to external parties.
- Coordinating school development societies and alumni associations.
- Granting permission for study and field trips.
- To carry out activities related to the provision of school uniforms and text books, teacher guides, library books, learning materials, student term cards.
- To carry out activities related to the provision of Grade 5 scholarships.
- To carry out activities related to the administration of approved private and charter schools.
- To carry out activities related to land acquisition, settlement, and rehabilitation.
- To carry out internal evaluation, reporting and feedback of the activities of the Education Administration Division.
- To carry out other activities assigned by the Zonal Education Director from time to time.

A two-day digital literacy and ICT integration workshop will be conducted at the Zonal Resource Centre. Participation is mandatory for all relevant subject teachers. Sessions begin at 8:00 AM.
